Printed circuit board assembly process is a complex process that involves interaction with many widgets as well as to the function of each component and location details. No electronic components, circuit board will not be able to work. In addition, according to its intended equipment or products, using different components. Therefore, understanding different components in the printed circuit board assembly is very important.
Most of the printed circuit board using the following common components:
1. The resistor
Resistor control through their current and voltage of each component connected to them. If there is no resistance, other component may not be able to process voltage, this can lead to overload.
2. The transistor
Transistors due to its versatility and is essential to the printed circuit board assembly process. They are can either electrically and insulation of semiconductor devices, can be used as a switch and amplifier. Their smaller size, relatively longer service life, and can be safely in the absence of the filament current running under low voltage power supply. A transistor has two types: a bipolar junction transistor (BJT) and the field effect transistor (FET).
3. The capacitor
On both ends of the capacitor is a passive electronic components. They like rechargeable batteries - they can store electrical energy, and then when needed to transport the energy again.
4. The inductor
On both ends of the inductor is a passive electronic components, when a current flows through them, it will be stored in the magnetic field energy. Inductance is used to prevent alternating current (ac) and direct current (dc) will be allowed to pass. They can be combined with capacitor made tuned circuit, used in radio and television receivers.
5. Diode
Unidirectional diode is used as a current switch semiconductor devices. They allow current easily along a direction through, but restrict the flow of electric current along the opposite direction.
