Encoder is tracking motor shaft rotation in industrial automation systems and robotics applications on the rise. These sensors and transmits the number of rotor shaft position and motion data, help to maximize the motor efficiency.

Serial peripheral interface (SPI) - you can use this bidirectional interface to integrate the encoder to involve relatively short interconnection distance communication applications.
The RS - 485 - the interface is very suitable for significant electrical or electromagnetic interference (EMI) noise level of the industrial environment. Differ with SPI, the encoder interface of the application in relation to distance is longer than the interconnect cases do not need to reduce the data rate. If you are using a dedicated RS - 485 receiver, you can even realize data speeds up to 10 Mbps. You can also use this type of interface to connect more than one encoder to a bus.
Synchronous serial interface (SSI) - this is a cost-effective interface, suitable for encoder in monitoring rotor position and speed. In the simplex one-way communication system, a common clock signal to guide a transmitter and a receiver synchronization via messages from SSI. It supports the same as the SPI interconnection distance. As with SPI interface, SSI provides excellent noise tolerance.
Capacitive absolute encoder is highly reliable electrical and mechanical equipment, applicable to many heavy rotation axis tracking application.
